hi,
what about if someone bought a license to a beat i downloaded before that
am i still allowed to record vocals on it and publish it (non-profital) then?
greetz, addy
Comment from admin
Time October 17, 2009 at 10:15 pm
Yeah. if someone buys a license, it just stops any future downloading. It’s more beneficial to buy a license as soon as a new beat is posted.

Hey Bossman…one quick question:
I noticed Addy asked su’m like this a while back, but not in the way I was wondering…say, for instance, a fella was to put some verse over a beat, record it and, like, put it on mixtape/album and sell it commercially, THEN, somebody else bought said beat, acquired the license and all…would that mean that the first fella would have to take that track off the mixtape/album (or maybe pay royalties) seen as how someone now owns the beat (and maybe wouldn’t wanna let this one slide)?
Sorry for the long question haha! Just wondered…
Thanks!

Giovani, Yes you can.

Time January 24, 2010 at 11:05 pm
ISsUe, that’s a good question. In the event that someone purchases an exclusive license, they do so while understanding that the beat used to be available for free and will not cancel the rights of anyone who has used the beat in the past. This is stated in the exclusive license contract. People wanting to purchase beats will benefit the most by purchasing them as soon as they’re released, to get them removed from the site as soon as possible.

I got a suggestion 2 make your site better, can u make it to when we click on genre example pop, westcoast club, it display all those type of beats instead of only 3 that way we dont have to go through the whole archive

hey man I’m a musician but I don’t sing if I write a an instrumental song using your beats and another instrument either vst/soundfont instrument or a real recorded instrument is it illegal to use them with out the vocals?
You see I have tons of songs written on music sheets I just need the sound of some good soundfonts if I’m not allowed to do that tell me so that I’ll stop from Starting to use them!
Comment from admin
Time March 18, 2010 at 4:34 pm
Shawngaleadrock, sorry the instrumentals are here for people to record vocals to and to use for multimedia projects, not for a musician to say that they wrote the instrumental. Your best option would be to go to the Sound Library section and download those instruments and use them to create your instrumentals.

ho i noticed that i made a silly mistake n my question. you see i dont wanna use your beats(let me explain) the question had to be this way: Can i use your Drums soundfonts(not your beats) to create my instrumental beats to add with my instrumental songs without using any vocals? (you see I my mistake was because confused the words your beats with your drums soundfonts)

Your site is great, but I have a few questions (I do not know why you deleted my previous question) I live in Croatia and I’m interested in whether the samples can be used for your comercialni album and that we no locks on the gates for money for his political rights if free samples of undress and record vocals to write and write on the album, all credits go http://www.probangers.com. Do we guarantee that nobody will sit at the neck for the money released? It was the first question now is worth more ::::: gave everything on this web site all rights are equally as difficult as in other countries such as Germany, Croatia, Serbia, Denmark or another example? can you say to me if everything is free I will donate some money from his album issued in Croatia on your website …
with your samples and I’ll make the best hip hop songs in Croatia and the admin does not delete the question is not right ……….. sory for my bad english

Not sure if someone asked this already but if we edit the beat a little, like change the tempo to speed it up a little, does that still work as long as we give the credit? Cuz I love the beats, but my flow is usually faster and it doesn’t sound as good to slow down to match th beat, so is that ok? Also great job and thank you for makin all the awesome beats
